Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno expressed that BERiDE is a new chapter of a participative-collaborative form in urban development. Portal that will also be developed in mobile apps platform is present as a device that makes citizens as co-creator of Jakarta to City 4.0.
"It will accommodate citizens' participation in providing ideas to arrange Jakarta to be more livable and sustainable," he stated, after participating in BERiDE launching in Jakarta Smart City Lounge, City Hall, Wednesday (5/23).

Besides that, it is able to create ideas, initiate collaborations of various parties, raise funds, up to bring the idea becomes real for the good of Jakarta.
"It can make fresh ideas or out of the box," he stressed.
According to him, in future, it is also looking for developing features such as point rewards, crowd funding, and use of artificial intelligence in curation of ideas.
"They will grow, but at some point it is very possible for cooperation with MRT Jakarta, Jakpro and private to give reward to the people who give the idea," he told.
He appreciated plans to collect ideas in the form of contestants as well as to break the MURI record to be held on May 23-November 23, 2018.
It is supported by Jakarta Planning Experts Association (IAP) in the publication and technical support, as well as organizing the contest in Jakarta. Selected creative and innovative ideas will be processed after through the previous through curation stage.
"We appreciate and hope this becomes a very decisive point. We hope, the target of a thousand ideas will result in an acceleration of participation from citizens as co-creators," he uttered.
